Cosmetic Surgery - Liposuction - Fat Reduction
Many years ago, European physicians began to develop a technique for body fat removal. This technique differs from past operations for body contouring in that it could be done in a way that no significant visible scars were made. Prior procedures for this problem involved extensive operations resulting in large scars which could only be concealed by clothing. Through the efforts of French surgeons, a new technique for suction fat removal has been perfected since the mid-1990s.
Utilizing a high-pressure vacuum suction, Dr. Hanson is able to extract fat cells through tiny incisions. While not a treatment for generalized obesity, this surgical technique is ideally suited for the removal of localized fat deposits in the cheeks, jowls, neck, hips, buttocks, abdomen, knees, calves, chest, and breasts.
