Dr. Ratliff graduated from Marquette University School of Dentistry as part of an accelerated dual degree program earning her BS in Biology and her DDS. She completed her residency program in Periodontics at the University of Louisville in Louisville Kentucky.

While in residency Megan completed her masters in Oral Biology with clinical work on bone regeneration which earned her first place in prestigious 2009 Pennell Competition. She went on to present this research at the national level.
